Red Tide is a sculptural resin chess set created as a piece of functional art. Its intense translucent red body combines depth, brilliance, and visual movement, while the gold squares create a bold, elegant contrast that transforms the board into a statement piece for display.

Each board is individually hand-poured and sculpted without a mold. The organic edge, internal pattern, size, and weight form differently with every creation. These variations are an essential part of the handmade process and ensure that every piece is unique.

Engraved coordinate letters and numbers run along the edge of the board as part of the design. The set includes 32 chess pieces and is created to function both as a playable chess set and as a contemporary sculptural object.
